I personally witnessed the decline and fall of Robert Tilton and his ministry. Tracy and I were at his church in Dallas the evening the Spirit lifted off of his work. It was during that meeting many fateful years ago that he came up with his inspired idea for Success-N-Life. We both (as full-blown charismaniacs) believed at that point in time his ministry became "icabod."
Shortly thereafter he began his practice to this day of sending out various charismatic trinkets, many of which adorn our wall of shame in the office. He and Marilyn Hickey obviously use the same company for their gimmicks.
His Crimes: Spreading False Teaching(s) {1} Spiritual Laws of Success, {2} Decreeing things into existence, {3} aberrant concepts of faith and God among the other usual WOF heresies. Uttering False Prophecies in the name of our God. Bilking God's people out of money & throwing away prayer requests after taking out the money. Giving people false hopes through making financial "vows" to God via his ministry.
Due to his further departure from the Truth of God and other problems his wife Marty divorced him, and he is currently going through a second divorce now. . .But Bob Tilton is "Come-back Bob." He is back on television up to his same old tricks. Prophalying, words of Knowledge, hearing the voice of God. . .. . .and hawking his latest scheme called "Circle of Blessing." I urge all of you to pray for Robert Tilton. At one time he was merely another Word of Faith Heretic. But he slipped over into being a false prophet and a true profit. He is answerable for much to our God. I hope he does not hear the fateful words of "I never knew you" from the lips of our Lord Jesus Christ. May he find mercy in His sight and not judgment.
So far I have received a blue "miracle cloth of righteousness" and a brass ring! Not to mention more blessed cornmeal and copper pennies as a point of contact! Tilton claims "a rich powerful anointing" that he is empowered to "give you God's anointing for His best." The only problem is - the Bible never says that any man can give another man "God's anointing." In fact today's concept of impartation is a false doctrine. . .and it makes Tilton either (1) a liar at worst or (2) severely deceived at best.
