I "cut" my spiritual teeth initially listening to tapes by Hagin,
Copeland, T. L. Osborn, Norval Hayes,
Marilyn Hickey, Robert Tilton and a host of other alleged "anointed"
teachers.
In the mid 1980's I was a student of Robert Tilton's
Satellite Bible School and was taught the various doctrines of the WOF movement
by the best known and most well respected WOF teachers. At that point in
time Robert Tilton was on the few mega-churches in America. He had over
8,000 regularly attending members.
Today Mr. Tilton runs his televangelism empire from
somewhere in West Palm Beach, FL. He has suffered two divorces and numerous
lawsuits. It is funny to think that he is responsible for helping launch
ministries, such as, Marilyn Hickey and Norval Hayes to prominence. . .yet today
WOF ministries would just as soon forget the debt they owe Mr. Tilton.
